More Day Off

Hana's dear friend and college roommate Susan w kids Owen and Ella came up from Spokane to say hi and go swimming at the beach - too bad Ben had to work!

Home Report

While we've been gone Silas has been brushing up on his morning sudoku at the beach cabin (photo via Nonnni)

But he isn't afraid to get into water fights either (who needs to see when you shoot?)

Day 6 Stats

Date: 23 July

Milage: ~ 95 (w detours)

States: 2 (WA and ID)

Weather: sunny and nice, hot by the end

Quote of the Day

"I'm so bossy because you aren't doing what I want!"

Hana Schutz-Mast

Day 6: part 2

About an hour before arriving in Sand Point we biked through farming country and saw 6-7 of these amazing nests on the very top of trees or power lines.  These pictures are for Liam, who is fantastic at spotting nests.  We first thought these birds were vultures, but then saw one land that looked like an eagle (too bad Nonni and Gramps weren't here to id them)

The tractor made us think of Silas!

Crossing the lake into Sand Point, only 5 miles short of a century ride!
