The pass at last.
It's now 105 degrees on the way into Okanogan. This area was all on fire two days ago and the road was closed.
So uncomfortably hot: only 35 miles more to go!

Day 2: Winthrop to Tonasket
Today was not as bad as we thought it might be. The pass was beautiful and the downhill really fun. We got lunch at a great coffee shop in Okanogan. Plus people kept coming up to Gabe to say what a sweet ride he has! But it was hot, hot hot as the South Africans say: 107 was the high.
