Day 3: Tonasket to Republic
It was a long (28 mile) climb straight out of Tonasket to Wauconda Pass. The country was beautiful though, lots of high mountain valleys with ranches tucked away. The weather was cooler in the mountains, high 80s to low 90s in the morning. But the temp was near 100 again by the time we arrived in Republic.
